Auditions & How to Apply

Levels I – VIII
Ages 8+

Seattle & Bellevue

Auditions are required for Level I and above or for students age 8 years or older. Classes in this division are carefully graded by age, physical strength and development. Students are introduced to progressive levels of ballet technique as described in the School Syllabus. They are promoted according to individual progress in acquiring technique and strength. Entrance by audition only.

Summer Course Levels I – V
Ages 8+

Bellevue Only

Students enrolled in the Francia Russell Center Summer Course will continue to learn progressive levels of ballet technique in a nurturing and professional environment. Enrollment in the Francia Russell Center Summer Course is open to all PNB School students currently registered in Levels I-V.

Level I & II

  • Four-week session
  • July 7 – August 1, 2025
  • Level I & II students have ballet technique three days a week for four weeks, plus an additional class such as hip hop.

Level III

  • Five-week session
  • July 7 – August 8, 2025
  • Level III students meet five days a week for five weeks. Students have a daily ballet technique class, followed by classes in pre-pointe, modern, hip hop, jazz, and musical theater.

Level IV & V

  • Five-week session
  • July 7 – August 9, 2025
  • Level IV & V students meet six days a week for five weeks. Students have a daily ballet technique class, followed by classes in pointe, modern, hip hop, jazz, musical theater, plus one Pilates mat or circuit training class per week.
