Twyla Tharp arrived in Seattle last weekend and started working with the Company on her latest ballet, Waiting at the Station, first thing Monday morning. The work is set in New Orleans to a score by the legendary musician, and Rock & Roll Hall of Famer, Allen Toussaint. To be honest, the sounds and energy coming out of PNB’s studios this week were amazing. We just can’t get enough of this artistic dream team!

Waiting at the Station premieres in a little over a month and, while we’re all eagerly waiting to celebrate on opening night, we thought everyone might enjoy a little musical trip to The Big Easy with this sultry mix of tracks by Allen Toussaint and other New Orleans greats.
