Rosalyn Hutsell is from Houston, Texas. She studied at Allegro West Academy of Dance, Vitacca Dance Project, School of American Ballet, and Pacific Northwest Ballet. She also attended summer courses at the School of American Ballet; Boston Ballet School, Charlotte Ballet, Arts Umbrella, and Pacific Northwest Ballet on scholarship. She joined Pacific Northwest Ballet as an apprentice in 2022 and the corps de ballet in 2023.

If you could give your younger self one piece of advice, what would it be? Don’t let your fear overtake your passions. When I was younger, I remember being fearless when it came to trying things in the studio. As I’ve gotten older though, I’ve let the fear of failing at things stop me from wanting to try them in the first place.
