How to Share Your Mobile Tickets
If you purchased tickets for friends arriving at the ballet separately, you can share your mobile tickets with them! Please note: once your friend has accepted shared tickets, they become the owner of said tickets, and you will no longer be able to use them. Do not share tickets if you are hoping to use them yourself.
- Go to wallet.PNB.org to sign in to your PNB Wallet.
- Tap the relevant event date to view the tickets you’d like to share.
- Scroll down on the page and tap the “Share Tickets” button.
- Enter your friends’ names and select the tickets you’d like to share with them.
- Send the provided invite link to your friends via email or text.
Now, your friend can accept the shared tickets by signing in to their PNB Wallet. If they do not have a PNB.org or PNB Wallet account, they will need to create one to access the tickets. To create a new account, your friend can click the “Register A New Account” button at the bottom of the wallet.PNB.org page, and enter the required information. If you see “Ticket accepted by your guest’s name,” in your PNB Wallet, your friend has successfully received your shared ticket!
Quick Tips:
Before you arrive at your performance, sign in to your PNB Wallet on your mobile device and hit the “Remember Log In” button to quickly access your tickets at McCaw Hall.
If you cannot get your Mobile Tickets to load at the ballet, try using the free “McCaw_Guest” wifi.
If you’ve shared a mobile ticket, but your friend cannot accept it, hit the green “Get this Ticket Back” button at the bottom of the ticket page to access it yourself.
Mobile Ticket FAQ
Like many performing arts organizations, PNB is facing increasing challenges due to ticket brokers. Ticket brokers cause problems for us and our customers by selling tickets at exorbitant prices or by selling fraudulent tickets. Mobile tickets discourage ticket broker’s with a dynamically changing, unique QR code that is scanned when you arrive at a show. By allowing only one scan per entry, any ticket brokers attempt to duplicate, alter, or resell copies of mobile tickets will result in denied entry. This empowers our patrons to make a chargeback claim on fraudulent tickets. Mobile ticketing also offers a convenient, digital option for patrons and prevents patrons from losing their tickets.
PNB’s Mobile Tickets use a dynamically changing, unique QR code. The constantly refreshing QR code you see is purposeful and adds an additional layer of security against counterfeit and stolen tickets. By allowing only one scan per entry, any attempts to duplicate, alter, or sell copies of the mobile tickets will result in denied entry. Do not attempt to print your ticket.
Your ticket QR Code is delivered two hours before your performance as a deterrent to fraudulent ticket resale. Since the QR Code updates periodically, a screenshot or printout of the ticket cannot be accepted. Requiring a live, updating QR Code to be scanned upon entry ensures that only one person at a time will have access to that ticket.
Not to worry! Whether your mobile device loses battery, you don’t have a good signal, or whatever else might go wrong, the PNB Staff at McCaw Hall will be happy to assist you. Simply visit the Box Office or our Concierge table, and we will get physical copies of your tickets printed out.
Your login information for your PNB Wallet is the same as your login information for PNB.org. If you don’t know your PNB.org password, click the Forgot Password link at wallet.PNB.org. That link will take you to a page where you can enter the email address associated with your PNB account. An email with instructions to reset your password will arrive in your email inbox shortly after that. After resetting your password, you will be able to use that same login info to access your tickets! If you are unsure what email address is associated with your PNB account, contact the Box Office at 206-441-2424 or tickets@PNB.org.
If your tickets are set for Mobile Ticket Delivery, you will need access to a smartphone or tablet to view your tickets via your PNB Wallet and scan them at McCaw Hall.
