Chiarelli Pacific Northwest Ballet School's Pinocchio is a narrated one-act ballet illustrated by storybook sets and costumes based on the original stories by author Carlo Collodi. This specially created, hour-long matinee performed by 60 students from PNB School is an ideal and affordable introduction to ballet for children and families. At McCaw Hall. Join us an hour before each performance for fun family crafts at McCaw Hall! Carved from a piece of pine by a woodcarver named Geppetto in a small Italian village, Pinocchio was created as a wooden puppet, but dreamt of becoming a real boy. And that's when the adventure starts...!
