The Director of Development designs and over sees fundraising programs and campaigns, within a 12 member Development Department to ensure the acquisition and retention of all contributed revenues for Pacific Northwest Ballet Association and the Pacific Northwest Ballet School. Cultivates and solicits major gifts ($10,000 and above) from individuals, corporations and foundations, with an annual funding goal of $6M - $7M in support of the ballet’s overall $23M operating budget. The Special Events Manager is responsible for design, oversight, implementation, and evaluation of all aspects of PNB’s major fundraising events, and provides seamless management and oversight in administering donor benefit events. This position will work together with committee volunteers, development staff team, outside vendors, and internal constituents to ensure that revenue and event goals are achieved.
